Can you imagine how many times he’s led the pep band to play “Orange Crush” after every home score?

The Walton CSD Class of 2025 is accepted!
SUNY Broome visited Walton earlier this week to walk seniors through the College Express process. Students filled out applications for Broome, and got information about the program. This is the first of several trips Broome will make to Walton to help students with the college or career process.
The College Express program guarantees Walton seniors to be accepted to Broome, should they choose to attend college there. The college will help students in all aspects, whether they choose to attend Broome, another college, or enter the workforce.
This was a great start to this partnership!

Walton CSD senior Amelia Somers had an impressive showing at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. The show is the largest dairy show in the world.
She was awarded Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show.
Amelia’s cow, GITANA, is eight years old, and was in the aged cow class. The animals that reach this level have already won at each step before it, and there were 15 in the class.
In a cow show, the Reserve Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion are titles given to cows that are judged to be the second best in their respective categories. The Senior Champion is typically an older cow that has already produced offspring, and the Reserve Senior Champion is the runner-up in that category. The Grand Champion is considered the best overall cow in the show, and the Reserve Grand Champion is the second best overall. These titles are important because they recognize the quality and characteristics of the cows, such as their conformation, udder quality, and overall health.
Join us in wishing Amelia congratulations for an impressive and superb showing! Way to go!
