Help Walter the Warrior Rock Snake grow!
Walton CSD eighth-grade art students in Lara Fassler’s class, as well as those in Crush Connects, painted rocks this past fall during a trip to the Uplands Center to form a rock snake.
Fassler worked with Chamber of Commerce member Trisha O’Brien to get permission from the Village of Walton for Walter to live and grow at Austin Lincoln Park.
Here’s where you can come in! Paint a rock and add it to Walter! The goal is for Walter to grow and make his way all the way around the path this summer!

Students in ceramics-sculpture, and 8th-grade art class, recently had the chance to go on a field trip to Corning Museum of Glass. While there, they had the opportunity to make a glass flower, as well as learn about careers in art. They also took a tour of the museum. Such a fantastic experience!
