Thank you to all who participated in the middle school career day Friday! All middle school students had the chance to hear from and see different careers from those in the field. The presentations were well received and provided our students with a great glimpse of possible future careers!

AVP recently held its advanced workshop for students in grades 8-12. The group participated in activities that encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and building conflict resolution skills. The connections between these students have continued to grow, which is wonderful to see!

Seventh graders recently took a trip to the Roberson Museum and Science Center in Binghamton, where they had a day full of interactive experiences!

The sixth-grade class recently participated in a mini AVP workshop. High school facilitators led activities that allowed the students to make connections, learn good listening skills, and build conflict resolution skills.

The Walton Central School District music department presents Beauty and the Beast at 7 pm March 24, and Saturday, March 25.
Senior Citizens are invited to attend the final dress rehearsal at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 23. This performance is free and open only to senior citizens.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday's shows are $8 at the door/$7 in advance for adults, and $6/$5 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the high school or Walton Music House.

Leading into the second-quarter middle school awards assembly, middle school students competed in a volleyball tournament during their advisor classes. The winning team was in seventh grade – Burnsworth’s Bananas. The winning team then played a teacher team at the awards assembly!

REMINDER: For those interested in modified, JV, or varsity sports for the spring, there is a Meet the Coaches night at 6 p.m., Monday, March 6.
At 6 p.m., those who need help filling out contact and medical information via FinalForms can come for assistance.
At 6:30 p.m., coaches will be holding sport-specific information meetings.
