Six members of the Walton CSD FFA, as well as two alumni members, traveled to the 95th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis at the end of October.
Students had the opportunity to explore the massive career and industry expo, attend official sessions where they heard from national officers, and watch national wards being presented.
More than 65,000 members attended the conference.
Finally, they were able to watch two Walton alumni – Cael Howland and Brynne Backus – receive the highest level award that the FFA offers – the American Degree.
The six current members who attended were: Mackenzie Backus, Lacey Bailey, Akyra Barriger, Eve Foster, Havyn Merwin, and Amelia Somers.
