Congratulations to Beth Howland who will receive her honorary Empire Degree from the New York State FFA!
Howland, Walton’s elementary school counselor, has been involved with Walton’s FFA for many years and serves as the adviser for the Townsend Elementary Ag Club.
She was nominated by the Walton CSD FFA chapter officers. The officers helped FFA adviser/agriculture teacher Vanessa Merrill-Wickham put together an application, which included a video and writeup.
Howland will be recognized at the New York State Convention on May 14.
