The Walton Central School District high school recently hosted more than 50 eighth-grade students and their families for freshman orientation.
After a welcome from High School Principal Art Loomis, the evening moved to a presentation from high school counselors Karen Gilbertson and Justin Preston. Following that presentation, students then toured the high school in small groups to meet with each freshman teacher to learn about expectations, course content, support, and goals for next year.
