Kindergarten registration for the Walton Central School District will be held from March 14-17.
If your child(ren) turns 5 years old by December 1, 2022, they are eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2022.
Registration packets will be sent out this week to students who the district has on its census. If you do not receive a packet, or just want to check to make sure the district has your child(ren)’s birthday, please call Patty Wood in the Townsend Elementary office at 607-865-5220, ext. 4077.
Packets, along with a copy of birth certificates and a record of immunizations should be brought back to the school during registration week. You can come on any of those days between the hours of 9 a.m.-2 p.m. You do not need to bring your child(ren) during those days, but you will be setting up a date for screening in June. Your child(ren) will need to attend that appointment.

Registration for Walton CSD’s UPK program, which is for children turning 4 by December 1, 2022, will be held in April.
