The Townsend Elementary outside Halloween parade has been canceled because of rain.
However, Townsend is going to have an indoor mini-parade. Please pay careful attention to what time your child will be having their parade as the times are now different.
We are going to stagger the grade levels into two different parades so we don’t have overcrowding and everyone can have an enjoyable experience.
UPK-2 parade (including afternoon UPK) will begin at 1:15. UPK, K, 1 and 2 parents please plan to be in the gym and seated, on the bleachers, by 1:05. Once the parade is completed parents will exit the gym doors so that the next round of parents can come through. If you also have a child in grades 3-5, you may stay in the gym for the next parade.
Grades 3-5 parade will begin at 1:50. Parents of students in grades 3-5 please plan to be in the gym and seated by 1:40.
For parents who would like to come in to assist their child with dressing, if they are not already dressed in costume, we will have the playroom open from 12:30-1:10. Please report to the main office in order for us to call your child down.
Please remember no adult costumes and no masks. We must be able to identify everyone coming into the building.
