On Thursday, the Walton Central School District celebrated Orange and Black Day in preparation for homecoming weekend!
At Townsend, the school was a sea of orange and black. At the high school and middle school, not only were school colors prevalent, but the annual pep rally happened at the end of the day!
Saturday features:
- 9 a.m.: Homecoming parade (lineup is at 8:30 a.m. at the bus garage)
- 1:30 p.m.: Football game vs. Harpursville/Afton
- 7 p.m.: Homecoming dance (crowning is at 9:45 p.m.; doors open at 9:30 for those who wish to watch the crowning, but there is a cost of $5 to enter. Parents of those on the court are free).
