The Walton Central School District will hold an evacuation drill at the middle and high schools on Monday morning.
The full evacuation allows the district to work on its drills and protocol in case an evacuation should happen in a real emergency. Teachers and staff will accompany students to their respective safe shelters, and take attendance multiple times.
The district has been working on its procedures for all drills and it showed with the effort by all staff, said Rick Robinson, Walton’s district safety coordinator.
