WCS Interim Superintendent to host “Koffee Klatches” at Ogden Library

Posted Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Walton Central School Superintendent Larry Thomas will host monthly “Koffee Klatches” at the William B. Ogden Free Library during the 2019-20 school year.

Thomas said he has done this at previous districts and wanted to bring the same to Walton. The idea is to reserve some time each month to chat with community members about professional topics. The dialog could include potential situations; put rumors to rest; to become more informed regarding district processes; and to share ideas about the district’s future. Please note that we will not openly discuss specific staff during these events.

The scheduled dates are as follows, and will be held from 4-5 p.m.

  • September 18, 2019
  • October 1, 2019
  • November 5, 2019
  • December 3, 2019
  • January 7, 2020
  • February 4, 2020
  • March 3, 2020
  • April 7, 2020
  • May 5, 2020
  • June 2, 2020

We welcome members of the community to join Superintendent Thomas for these chats.
