At the end of each year in Tina Ammon’s second-grade class, a competition of “Cupcake Wars” is held where students bake cupcakes and bring them in. A group of staff and community volunteers come to the classroom and taste the cupcakes, judging and awarding points on a five-point scale.
Three winners are chosen – best tasting, best presentation, and best flavor.
After everything was tallied, the winners were:
Best Tasting: Austin Scutt (Nutella cupcackes)
Best Presentation: Ryan Somers (burgers and fries cupcake)
Best flavor: Jackson Sweeney (strawberry pineapple).
