AP Bio class works with elementary students

AP Biology students recently spent some time with Wendy LeBarge’s third-grade class, showing how viruses and bacteria spreads.

Madison LeBarge – the daughter of Wendy LeBarge – had worked on a project, which involced preparing a lesson to teach students what viruses and bacteria are, how they spread, and what each of us can do to help prevent the spread of disease.

Madison assigned each student a behavior that either spread the gems or did not, and then she tested each student’s sample to see if they were infected or not. AP Biology class students worked with the students during this as well.
