The annual Walton CSD budget vote and Board of Education election will be held from 12-9 p.m. at the district bus garage on Delaware Street on Tuesday, May 21. 

Residents will be voting on $21,745,814 million budget, which is an increase of 4.22 percent over last year, as well as a 2 percent tax levy increase. 

There are four propositions on the ballot, which includes the William B. Ogden Free Library budget (which is not part of the WCS budget).

The propositions are:
- The 2019-20 school budget
- Establishing a capital reserve fund
- Leasing of three buses
- William B. Ogden Free Library budget

Voters will also decide on three BOE seats. Four people are running and they are as follows (in order they will appear on the ballot): Mirranda MacDonald, Kevin S. Charles, Marilynn C. Lewis, and Dotti Howe.
