Three spring concerts are slated for the coming weeks at the Walton Central School District.
 
All three concerts will be held in the high school auditorium, are free of charge, and open to the public.
 
The first is the high school concert, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. 
 
The concert will include the symphonic orchestra and high school chorus, under the direction of new music teacher Rebekah Doig. The high school band, under the direction of Raymond Bartlett, will perform as well. Also performing will be the high school brass ensemble.
 
As part of the concert, the Gilboa high school band will also perform. As part as of an exchange of sorts, Walton traveled to Gilboa on May 7 to perform there. 
 
Next up is the elementary concert, scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16. 
 
The concert will feature the elementary orchestra, beginning band, advanced band, and third-grade guitars under the direction of Erik Parry. The third- and fifth-grade choruses, conducted by Theresa Bolton, will perform as well.
 
Finally, the middle school concert wraps up the three shows at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22. 
 
Large ensembles performing, under the direction of Doig will be the string orchestra, as well as the seventh- and eighth-grade chorus. The sixth-grade chorus and the seventh- and eighth-grade band, conducted by Barlett, will also perform.
