Weather causes changes to events
Because of the weather, some changes have been made to events for Walton CSD. The changes are as follows:
The boys basketball games scheduled for today at Delhi have been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 13. The girls will also be playing at Delhi on Wednesday, so the schedule is as follows:
- 5:30 p.m. JV boys at Delhi in the middle school gym
- 7:15 p.m.: JV girls at Delhi in the middle school gym
- 5:30 p.m.: Varsity girls at Delhi in the high school gym
- 7:15 p.m.: Varsity boys at Delhi in the high school gym
Please note that the winner of the boys game advances to the Midstate Athletic Conference championship at 6 p.m. Friday, February 15 at Binghamton University.
The community budget forum and regular board meeting will be moved from Wednesday to Tuesday, February 26. The times are as follows:
- 6 p.m.: Community budget forum
- 7 p.m.: Board of Education meeting
There will be, however, a special Board of Education meeting at 5 p.m., Wednesday, February 13. It is anticipated the BOE will immediately convene an executive session to discuss a matter under attorney-client confidentiality; and, possibly, contractual negotiations.
