Students in Walton CSD high school physical education classes can earn the Sportsmanship Award, which is earned by students who go above and beyond in PE classes.
These students exemplify stepping outside of their comfort zones, trying new skills, not giving up, is helpful to everyone, and who truly shows fair, generous, and encouragement toward themselves and others.
The high school PE department hasn’t given one of these awards since COVID and announced several for this year. The group was recently offered the chance to hike White Rock, and those who went had the opportunity to enjoy the sun and view of Walton.
The following students earned the award for the 2024-25 school year: Eli Williams, Marcus Marano, Kai Storrer, Miley Dunbar, Aiden Branigan, Aurora Siniscalchi, Owen Sanderson, Lorelai Angevine, Jaedyn Roloson, Carter McNamara, Wyatt Whitaker, Layne VanValkenburg, Maisy Rhinehart, Abigail Wright, Mayla Evans, and Kaya Stanton.
