Townsend Elementary recently hosted the annual PTA Spelling Bee.
The winners in each grade level were as follows:
- Third grade: Bentley Hadden
- Fourth grade: Eli Northrup
- Fifth grade: Autumn Gerace
Autumn has won all three years that she participated in the Spelling Bee. She is just the sixth person to complete the three-year sweep of the bee, following Sara Howard, Peter Phraner, Joy Trimbell, Vincent Escobar, and Joey Pomeroy.
Congratulations to this year’s winners and all of the participants. Each participant had won their classroom Spelling Bee.
