Four of Walton CSD’s winter sports teams earned scholar-athlete honors from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) for the 2024-25 winter season.
Those pictured below are those on the scholar-athlete teams. To qualify as a team, 75 percent of the roster must have a GPA of 90 and above.
Girls indoor track and field had the top average among the teams with a 96.2, followed by the Walton/Downsville girls basketball team (93.57). Boys indoor track had a 92.13, and the W/D boys basketball team finished at 91.65.
The MAC scholar-athletes, recognized as the top GPA on each team, are also pictured below.
