The middle school social emotional learning (SEL) committee has started a student of the month for each grade. These students are nominated, and voted on, by the middle school staff.
The September SEL students of the month are: Kedyll McDonald (sixth grade), Reaghan VanTyle (seventh grade), and Grace Walley (eighth grade).
During the month of September, these students demonstrated kindness and compassion toward their peers, a desire to help both peers and staff, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
The students were presented their awards by Middle School Principal Adam Hoover and Counselor Kacie Button.
