Walton Central School District now offers an easy and convenient way to purchase school apparel and school store items. Our web store accepts payments over the internet 24/7. By contracting with RevTrak, a national credit card payment processor, we provide you a secure site for making payments.

The Budget Hearing was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 7:30 PM in the High School auditorium.

School Budget Vote - Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the school bus garage between the hours of 12 noon and 9:00 PM.  Please be sure to bring proof of residency with you when you vote, such as a driver's license or utility bill.

Sustitutes are needed for the following positions:

• Teachers
• Teacher Aides
• Clerical
• Bus Drivers
• Cafeteria Workers

On March 28th Tina Miner-James was celebrated as the National Association of Agricultural Educators 2012 Region VI Outstanding Agriculture Educator.

Among those in attendance were her family, Meghan Arnold representing TOYOTA who sponsored the event, Rodney Decker representing Assemblyman Clifford Crouch's office, current and former FFA students, co-workers and friends.

The Box Tops Race is ON!  Each year Townsend School collects BoxTops off of brand name food items and they are redeemed to purchase something for our school.  The Townsend School PTA process all Box Tops the students bring in, and in the past has purchased a SmartBoard for the music classroom as well as replaced/increased the number of swings on the playground. The grade level who brings in the most BoxTops gets a special treat from the PTA. Last year it was a special movie at the Walton Theatre.

Please take the time to save the BoxTops that come on your groceries and send them to school with a Townsend School student.

Townsend students collect Campbell soup labels to buy extra classroom supplies and equipment.  They help Math teacher Anne Hartman process the labels and use it as a math lesson at the same time.  There's lots of sorting, and matching and balancing that goes into it, but we end up getting some nice stuff.

If you have labels you can bring them to the Townsend School office or send them with any student, or mail to 42-66 North St.  Thank you for helping the Townsend Elementary School!
